An acid machine by QAFARØV.
Synthesizers, sequences and liquid.
Sound in liquid
ACID-211 is an audiovisual artwork and a musical instrument that runs in your browser. Its acid-green liquid surface brings sound, typography and controls into one composition.
Make a loop
Build a loop with four instruments: Acid, Bass, Kick and Hats. Choose presets, shape oscillators and envelopes, and use accents and slides to give the sequence its own movement.
Corrode & Mutate
Corrode changes the texture of the Acid voice. Mutate reshapes its notes, accents and phrasing. Combine them, turn the cutoff, and follow the loop somewhere unexpected.
Keep it moving
Four independent sections — A, B, C and D — let you develop different versions of a pattern and play them in sequence. Copy settings between sections, undo edits, and export your music as a stereo MP3. Your session is saved automatically in the same browser.
Open on desktop
Open ACID-211 on a desktop to use the full instrument. On mobile, you can listen to the demo and explore the opening liquid composition.
